Adding another thankyou feather to the GStwin.com's hat. I am at the top of the world right now, after doing the carb cleaning/rejetting myself.

My motorcycle used to run so crappy that it was no more fun riding it, now, although not perfect, is mucho mucho better. And I learned a lot while doing the job. Just changed the pilot jets from 37.5 to 40 seems like to take care of all the low rpm problems. Did not change anything else. Ahh yes, cleaning the carbs must have helped too!

I have special thanks for Pandy, ceek, sanjay, scratch, wildblue - thanks a lot for motivating me to do it myself and for being there - I always had in my mind that if screw up anything you guys are there to help me out.

My next task is to sync the carbs!!

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Cool!  Working on the GS isn't that hard.  ;)

The Bay Area crew is a good bunch, I've ridden with them.  You're in good hands.   :thumb:
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

After helping me out numerous time I finally sent them a long overdue $10 US donation a week or so ago. The absolute least I could do to help keep this site up and running.

I purchased my Clymer's manual from Amazon using the link GSTwin.com provided knowing they would profit from it.  :thumb:

I've gotten some great help from current and past members of this forum in just the short time I've been here.
