More info for anyone interested - I bought the bike two years ago with 500mi on it, so 95% of the mileage is mine. I just changed the oil and filter two weeks ago, and have a new air filter on hand. Valve clearance was checked at 10k. Back tire only has about 4k on it, and all the miles are straight up on the interstate. I only ride the bike to and from work; never even had time to take it to the mountains.

I'm selling because I've had too many close calls with reckless cagers during my rush hour commutes. I've taken the MSF, I don't speed or tailgate, and I dress in all yellow, but still I've almost been run over twice this week alone. If I rode during the weekend or in a less congested area, I'd keep the GS, but for now I'm packing up my gear and putting it in the attic. The risk just isn't worth it for me at this point.
