Handlebard for a 94 GS500??

Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions, I finally fixed a 94 GS500 that two mechanics couldnt fix.  I fixed the carbs and sealed the fuel tank.  I need a set of handlebars.  I dont personally care whether they are original or just a set that will fit.  I believe they are 7/8".  Any advice on where I can locate them or what different types and sizes will fit would be greatly appreciated!!  Thank you!!!!

are the clubman bars from xtremerevolution the same as the clubmans on the wiki?  I guess I'm asking will the ones on XR.com work on a gs inverted like that?

Yes.  I had the clubman and it fit fine.  I took it off after two days because the body position was awful and it didn't provide any decent leverage for steering.

Hm.  No clue.  I'd imagine it's a pain in the arse.  But probably someone has tried it.

I think I'll probably just order them... I know my old drag bars were to narrow for me to get my brake lever mounted the way I wanted it and the stock ones annoy the ba-jesus out of me.  So whats 20 bucks in the name of experimentation?!

I am just test fitting a set of clip ons from a CBR250R they are a bit narrow compared to the stock bars and I had to remove the top plate that the standard bars mount to but now have to make a new bracket for my instruments as the bike is going through some mods I cant show you yet but hopefully soon

Wow, great price. I don't know how Suburban machinery bars can even compete...

Uh, well you either have to drill holes in them to locate the controls, or snap the locating pins on your controls.  So either you can't return them, or you've damaged your controls.

Well, since my old Flanders bars were not drilled either, and were harder than a rock I might add, I've already got no pins on my controls.  So I'm set.  I've found that there's really no issues with spinning.  They should be on my doorstep tuesday... And I hope they're here sooner than that cause I hate.. no no, despise the stock bars!

drag bars are ok, a little more awkward position-wise for me (5'9" on a good day), u may have crowding when u put all the handlebar equipment back on, and if you drop the bike it may be hitting/dimpling your gas tank.

not worth it IMO but a lot of people like them. I bought the stock ones to replace the PO's drag bars and they are comfy for me.

I had drag bars... a little more narrow that stock so I had clearance issues with the master cylinder.  I wanted to do an under triple clip on, and this is the cheapest way to get that done.  My drag bars made a little dent in my tank when I dropped it a couple months ago... it sucked but what can you do?  If you want to play you've gotta pay.  I'll have it fixed when it gets paint this winter.
