Bandit 1250

After riding GS500F for 4 years,  finally pulled the trigger and got the 1250 this summer.  I wanted to stop by this forum and thank all the members that made the last 4 years with my GS a great experience.  I did not have to go to the dealer one time for the 15K miles I rode her.  Every time I had a issue, this forum would have the answer.  Great place.  I only wish Bandit had a similar forum.

Anyway,  the 1250 is holding up quite good with 3K miles on her so far.  The FI is clean and no hiccups.  Torque is strong as you may already know.  The bike feels very planted at speeds north of 120 mph.  Wheelies are simply matter of twisting the throttle (1st and 2nd) .  The only thing I miss about GS vs. Bandit is the weight.  I am a skinny guy (130 lbs) and Bandit is almost 600lbs with full tank.  Already dropped her once in my garage and I know I will drop her again.  But such is life.  And it is only matter of time that I get my first speeding ticket with this beast.

Congrats! The new Bandit 1250 is cool ,a bit heavy as mentioned though, come back and update on your bike ,many will appreciate it.

Hello my Friend,
my next bike might be a bandit 650, because its light, I weight 62 kilo's (how many pounds is that?) if you like the bottom power and ofcourse who does'nt try a SV 1000 naked
it has the same weight as the GS and lots of power and speed, handels VERY easy and light.
