1997 gs500 for sale daytona beach, new price $1200 must sell

1997 gs500e around w/11000 miles. it is a great bike and if anyone wants an unbiased opinion. nastynate who post on here test drove it when i was trying to sell it a few months ago. i did not end up selling it due to the bike i was upgrading to was bought out from under me. the only problem with the bike is that the choke cable broke in the full choke position. because of that i will be selling the bike for $100 dollars less than i was offered a couple of months ago. the sale price is $1400 obo.

me and my roommate are moving to Colorado. my bikes must be sold by the first week of October.  to be test ridden the buyer must know how to manually turn off the choke. also i have no ability to deliver the bike so local pick up only. if you have any questions give me a call at 386-214-2002.

sorry the bike is dirty. the paint is in good condition.

the rust is all surface rust and could be cleand up without a whole lot of effort.
it is not to bad and other than that the bike is relitively rust free.

someone has put a deposit on the cbr and should be picking it up on sunday.
the cbr is sold and i have removed the pics and put up more of the gs.

Man, that bike is nasty! If you want to sell it, knock the rust off and polish it already !

The paint looks good, but as soon as a potential buyer walks up, he's really going to get knots in his/her stomach at all the rust. It would only take a few hours and some elbow grease.


If you don't clean it up, you're going to get low-ballers that just waste your time.

that is why i am willing to take $1200 is because of that rust.

i mean for $1200 plus a choke cable you have a great riding bike.

i do not know how many bikes you have seen for that price.
but this one has not been wrecked and runs great.
and it is the best looking bike i have seen for the price.
