Will this chain work for my 94 gs?...Never done that been there before deal....It says 250cc max,but I've seen others rated less tensile strength for a gs.And is the master circlip what I will need to cut it down and link it back with? Seeing I only need 113 links fpr my sprocket config...17-44 Thanks..Ronin

(New RK-M 520 Standard Motorcycle chain
Suitable for 250 cc max motorcycles
6800 Tensile strength (non-oring)
120 links with a circlip master clip included)
Well, either you're part of the problem, part of the solution,...

It will certainly "fit" your GS, but I wouldn't go with anything less than an O-ring chain.  Without O-rings, this chain will require significantly more maintenance and will probably still not last half as long.

The clip-style master link is indeed what you would use to join the chain together after removing some links.  For removing the links, I would use something like a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel.  (See [THIS OLD POST].)
