Replacement Key

Hi,

I have misplaced the keys for my 02 gs500. The bike is used and I do not have the key code. I have called several locksmiths and all have said they do not know how to make a replacement keys for a motorcycle. What options do I have?

Is the key code someplace on the bike where I can access.

if you take the top triple tree to any lock smith they should be able to make you one.  I had mine done for around $30.   I dont know why they are telling you they cant do it.  All locks work on the same concept.

The key code should be on the lock cylinder ( you have to take it out is on the side).  Or like said above, take it off and to a lock smith
