Finally Done...well almost

I've been working on the bike for the last month already. I finished about a week and half ago but finally got some pictures. Even though I couldve finished in 3 days....I couldnt get myself to finish. Well anyways, Out of the 2 Katanas that I had...I decided to rip one apart and use its forks. Heres a few pix. I'll try to get some other ones up.

the purple is for my girlfriend....she's crazy in love with purple, and when I painted the stock wheels she went crazy so I decided to put a little purple touch to the sprocket. Shes now ok.

Next for the bike though, I'm planning on re painting the frame, stainless steel brake lines, new exhaust piping and cleaning up the motor. Also a new seat is in the future also or maybe I'll just revinyl it.

What signals are those ? Are they bright ?

How much of a difference did the kat fork make ?

Unless you are going to upgrade the seat for comfort i say just revinyl. You could use purple

The signal lights are Lockharts... the dude I got my first Kat from gave them to me. Their pretty bright actually, I like them better than the stock ones. I want to paint them black...the reason their still white is because my wheels were white.

The Kat forks feel fantastic. It gives the bike a stiffer ride and it turns and leans even easier. Its kind of scary when I'm going through my neighborhood (many turns) I can get the bike to lean (only when theres no cars) so easy. Its so nimble, even though it was already a nimble bike...its just makes it easier to lean. I'm thinking about extending my kickstand since the bike sits higher, But its fine. Back to the forks, All I can say is that they are awesome. Its cool that their adjustable, my buddy has an fzr and always complains that he cant adjust his. I'm looking into GSXR forks in the future but for now, I think its almost perfect.

As for the seat, I want to revinyl just because its cheaper, but i really wouldnt mind a +01 seat, fairings and tank. niiiice.

I forgot to say I have a Kat rear shock on there also. A 150 rear and a 110-80 up front. Its a little dry so I'm going to put my 120 up front. I have a place that sells cheap used track tires in my area. The tires I'm going to run are Bridgestone Battlax BT020. I also have emgo pods and 140 and 40 jets. Bike runs slighty rich but its ok...better then lean. I'm also planning on 14t or 15t spocket. I want to go under seat exhaust with RS5 yosh. As for now....the Bike is great!!!.

what colour are you thinking of repainting the frame? silver? black?? purple???

most likely black. Give it a more modern touch you know. I'm still deciding though......suggestions?
