I know its another exhaust topic, but I am curious if anyone has heard a laser deep tone exhaust on a gs500f yet? I know they are pricey ($500) but its something different. I have looked but have not seen any sound clips on this exhaust and have only found one picture of a bike that has it installed (blue and white gs500f). I am also debating on the new yoshi trs slip-on in carbon fiber (i have the black and silver 06 model) just because i think the carbon fiber would look cool on the color combo. anyways, any help would be great.

oh also a newb to the site and if you didnt see my post in the who are you area just want to say hello to everyone here.

Im not trying to be rude . but a 4 Cylinder  800cc Is gonna produce a note completly different to what a Gs500 could ever Produce, even with the stock exhaust system

actually i have a correction, i checked spieglerusa.com and the deep tone for the gs500f retails for a whopping $593.70! I also noticed they have custom color brake lines which i have seen discussed in the forums before too, you can pick your line color and fitting color (don't know bout you guys but i think thats sweet!). so do any of you think $600 is rediculous to spend on exhaust when the jardine is only $350ish?

I think $350 is still kinda ridiculous to spend, BUT if you have money and don't want to mess up to much with cutting, drilling, piping, welding etc it is the way to go. Very nice plug n play solution  :thumb:

Soon I'll make sound clip of my Leo Vince SBK exhaust. I like it a lot - it's little bit like deep tone from laser. But it's oval pipe. If you're interested here are the pics:  http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=37535.0

good luck!

hey, I spent $600 Aus on the Staintune can (almost bought the Laser but went for the local product). I love my sexy stainless can - it sounds fantastic, is awesome quality, and installed perfectly in about 30 minutes.

if it works for you, and you can afford, then do it. money's for spending! and if it means falling in love with your bike all over again, I reckon it's well worth it.

well i checked the links on you tube for the sound clips, i saw the one for BSM Vampire exhaust which i thought sounded pretty cool  :thumb: so i emailed them to see if they had one for the gs500f and told them where i was located and the response i got was "sorry we do  not ship to the United States"  well so much for that idea. kinda sounds to me like that response was basically " :flipoff:" but oh well, life goes on. I've also been thinking about giving the 500f to the wife and getting a Yamaha R6S (basically the old body R6 that they kept around when they did the new re-design) or Honda CBR600rr. not looking for performance really, just a fun bike to ride as a commuter and  joy riding in the evening/weekend. but anyways, i still have to pick the exhaust for the 500 first.  :dunno_white:
