I LOVE CCR, I saw them play the Forum with Booker T and the MGs when I was 12, and NEVER forgot it!
I don't know how John got such a good Bayou Boy accent living in Oakland, I think it was, CCR was always a Bay Area band but John loved the "romance" of the South. Love his new album Revival, especially Gunslinger and Broken Down Cowboy.

It is in Tamil and I think there was a translation on the site somewhere, but it was too freakin' hilarious how close it does sound to the English "translation", I guess the titles really help the ear "hear" the English but it was a little spooky. Plus there's the risk of the Benny Lava chorus running through one's head. I think it's become a small sensation in a few areas of the 'net. It was linked to a blog I read, I laughed so hard I cried the first time I saw it.
