thanks guys it has come a long way from after the wreck

I dont know if you can see all the dents I have in the tank and the scratched up V&H but it was pretty busted.

a little bit before the major laydown

ofcourse that laydown was in 2006 so some time ago.

some of you probly remember when I posted the pics after fixing it anyways though.

here are some images I never did show though.

the exhuast before it was weathered

I actually did want it to weather a bit, I like the rough look and I like the look of copper and stainless steels , so I made a compromise, c17 copper nickel alloy. it has weathered to my liking :).

the mirrors have their ups and downs but they are very functional , the only down side to them is when I want to go to full lock position I have to flip them out, but I am so used to them that its like second nature. they took a major laydown very well. I am very happy with the qaulity. they are nepoleon bar ends.

I can't remember the brand of the signals but they werent to much at the local motorcycle shop. they are good and bright and will light up the road at night but for all of my signals I used my hands on top of using the lights because at times I have heard if you are not paying attention you cant really notice them in the day time.

The night shot is pretty cool, showing red white and blue lights-

your rear tire looks hard as hell though, shiny like it's almost plastic ?

it is a 1973 kawasaki g5 100 dual purpose.

I have started placing some new parts on it and doing a few upgrades. I need to make a custom clutch cable and some other parts as they sell nothing for this bike anymore.

you can check out a little clip of the bike running right after I bought it. My airforce supervisor at the time decided he wanted to ride it in the shop haha.

as far as that rear tire on my gs  goes it is very sticky on the road and is amazing in the rain. they are IRC tires.

as far as the headers go, I am not wasting my time with painting any longer. I could get them ceramic coated or black chromed but as far as sand blasting them and painting them it just doesnt work because i've done it twice to them already and used high temp paint plus cured them in an oven. . the look does not bother me at all. I was never one for a flashy motorcycle anyways. it is a well used bike , I am by no means a "fair weather rider" so it see's alot of abuse by the elements.

this is what the exhaust looked like last year actually right after it was painted and put in the oven.

kawasaki huh it resembles a suzuki ts 400 alot

see lol

and holy sht the rear sprocket on that kawa is sooo tiny!!! that seems like it would be a big strain on the motor off road my trail ts400 has a sprocket on it that is roughly 10-11 inches tall  so much torque  :o  but my street ts400 still has a larger sprocket too lol

How do you like riding on that rx-01 rear tire.  How is it in the wet/dry and grip compared to pirellis or any other sport tire??
GS500E with a bunch of cool stuff!

lets put it this way, I could do an easy burn out with my Micheline performance tires but I have a very hard time with these they stick better and are a lot better in the rain!
