Notice a strong smell of gas from the GS after my ride, and it seems the tank reciruculation  ( CA emission) hoses are filled with gas, not sure if the gas is from the tank end or the carb end.  I disconnected the tubes, drained out any gas that's left and took the bike for a quick ride, and all seems well.  Could this be because of me possibly over filling the tank (a little into the neck portion of the tank)?  thanks,

my guess would be that your floats stuck open and allowed the fuel to overflow into the engine/airbox etc....

Could also be from overflow from the tank  :thumb:
