Yes, I believe its called adjusting your neck bearings - or replacing them.

There's a need if you want there to be one.

I'm not aware of any off-the-shelf kits...you're have to fabricate one solo.

what people are trying to say is that that gs doesn't suffer from headshake IF your bearings are in good condition, and adjusted properly.

now then, if you know that much ^^^ is true, and just WANT a damper, you could always modify something for looks or whatever, but it's really not something that is NEEDED unless something else is very wrong, like head bearings, tire out of balance, wheel bearings, etc.

folks aren't trying to get smart with ya, just hopeing you don't overlook something important.

I think Toby makes one but as I remember it's pretty pricey..$350.00 . What I've done for the past couple of years is gotten a stock damper for a gsxr 750 that mounts on the front of the steering head. Welded a tab on to the head, and bought a clamp for the fork tube. And for $25-$50 you can have a damper that should meet all your needs. Granted you can't adjust it on the fly but you can change the fluid to a heavier weight. But be careful not too heavy no more than 10wt. Also keep the pivot hole on the bracket close to the head. It may take an attempt or two to get it right so only tack weld the bracket on so you don't create more work for yourself. If anyone needs some pics on the subject mail me.  wera90ex@aol.com    Rich Graver
