Headlight Adjustment

I decided to go out for a rare night ride tonight. I did okay on well lit streets, but when I was on a street with no streetlights I had felt like I wasn't seeing the ground well. The trees and signs were well lit though! :) The high beam seemed to be worse than the low beam. I augured into a ditch back in March and apparently threw off the adjustment when the headlight hit the ground.

When I got home I looked up how to do a headlight adjustment and found that my headlight was way out of adjustment! It should drop 2 in per 17 ft, mine was 2-3 ft high after 17 ft. :o I followed the instructions to adjust a headlight I found here and everything is great again. :thumb:

im going to check my alignment tommorow..

though I like the way it is, i can see the road and the trees and the signs when in low beam.. that way the oppositing cars can see me too.
