questions about fitment for gs500e to gs500f

hey guys will a gs500e rear plastic fairing fit an '06 gs?

Depends on the year E.  Earlier E's had a different tail.  Later E's may but I think I remember reading that the mounting tabs were different.

89-00 are the same.
01+ are the same.

They can be made to fit either way but require some modifications.

Yeah, judging from pictures, the older gse's rear plastics go all the way up to the tank. The new ones don't.

Dgyver is correct. '89-'00 GS500E are all the same, but are not compatable with newer models. '01-'02 GS500K are the same as GS500F models.
