lookin to put dirtbike bars on my gs500

hey everyone i have an 89 gs500e with the little clip on bars they are to small for my likeing and i want to throw on some pro taper hi rise bars can i do this with the stock triple tree clamp or do i have to put a different one on my bike i just bought new bars for it and grips i am willing to sell them for a good price i did not pay cheap for them but if any one can help me i would greatly be thankfull

ps my bike only has 4692 kms on it i paid 1500 bucks for it can anyone tell me if i got a good  deal thanks everyone

You have to get a newer Triple tree , to accoumadate the risers , im sure there are a bunch of people who would want to swop there Near sets for the older ones
