Am I lean?

So I got a full V&H exhaust system from a member of this forum Installed it on my bike and now I have a huge flat spot and the bike has no acceleration when throttle is cracked open just sounds like im sucking in air then it slowly picks up speed. the bike ran ok before the full system. My previous set-up was slip-on can UNI pod filters 22.5/65/147.5 unshure how many turns. Should I up the main jet to 150 and do 3 turns on the mixture or m i rich? oh yeah Im at sea level

lemmie guess, it usually starts with choke ok, warms up slowly, and generally rides OK. then there is that crappy performance on WOT snap. oh, and maybe a 'flat spot' around 5500-6500 rpm ? you have the 3 circuit carbs, so i'm not certain if you have a flat spot. i'm guessing it's less on them.

my bet is lean across the board. check your float height, shim the needle with one or two washers, and see if it solves it. on a 2 circuit, 2.5-3.5 or so mixture turns = nice.

try some plug chops too. they tell the tale quick.

I have done the wiki dozens of times and I have symtoms of both plugs are faulty cause they show no white spotd of smell like gas. it rides ok but I can still fel a power loss even when cruising unless it mental a flat spot around mid range 5-6or7.
