well, the lightnin ain't exactly sexy. i wouldn't have placed it at number 1. that ktm shoulda been number one.  i didn't think the rune shoulda been on the top 10. maybe top 100 but not top ten. it was an intresting looking bike. and the sv1000. why the hell was it on the list? everyone i've heard talk about the sv lineup all use the word sexy.

yeah, it was a stupid list in general and most bmw's would be uglier than anything on that list save a few.  I don't understand some things like the sv and the rune.  those are both dead sexy bikes to me.  I think tastes are different for a reason hence why there are so many bikes.

indeed, ive known ppl who have bought a rune, and ive been fortunate to ride it. i actually liked the thing, even though im a harley guy on a gs

Oh F(*K the rune is one ugly ass MOFO, if it didn't mae the #1 spot, I shudder to think what is up there ...
BTW I'd not put the BMW's in that list at all, there is a beauty in a functionally relevant item which just happens to ruin the aesthetic appeal. A girl with child bearings hips for example is sexy to me, and pee pee Hilton ... is not. I doubt anything is going to change that.
I think I'll look at that list now, cos I am yet to eat, I eat and I might risk my food comming back up. The Rune is freaking fugly. In all angles its ugly ... front ok ... oh god I'll throw up just thinking about it.

So I guess because the 1000s has a chin fairing it's one of the ugliest bikes of all time!?

That is easily the worst list I have ever seen. I'll make a list of top 10 worst lists, that one is number 1.

I don't think they're ugly, they just don't appeal to me. But apparently they appeal to my step dad, who has a painting on his rear fender of calvin pi$$ing on the word "rice"  I'll have to get a picture of it sometime, pretty tacky if you ask me.

I always thought the lightning was an awesome looking bike. A list like this means nothing though, it's probably one dude's opinion, maybe a few. But as they say, opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one. And these guy's suck!

Yea the rune, the KTM and the triumph mega monster deserve their spots ... but some of the other weren't too ugly ...
The SV and the lightning were downright great bikes and nice looking to boot, the magna was just keeping with the bikes of that time.
On some bikes they compared it to the predecessor like the CB400F ...
That BSA is also very in with that time, its like making fun of the thin tires on a Model T or drum brakes on a Pan head. Like duh ... that's all they knew and had in terms of materials.
