1993 GS500E $1400 Atlanta, GA

I'm selling my 1993 GS500E. It has about 16,200 mi on it right now. Exact milage may vary because I may ride it. I have personally put over 7,000 miles on it in the past year. It doesn't look pretty, but it's in good mechanical condition. I have most records for the bike, and it shouldn't need any major maintenance anytime soon. It has been down at least once that I know of. I drove it into a ditch on the dragon last fall. The only damage was to the gauge cluster frame and cover. It still rides fine, and I've put about 5,000 mi on it since then. The gas tank has recently been replaced with one that doesn't leak. I'll include the purple gas tank, but it has a leak in it. It would make a good first bike, commuter, or just a cheap bike to have fun with on the weekends. Clean title in hand. Asking $1400 or best offer. Mods: (None done myself except the heated grips, wheel stripes)
-Yoshimura slip on
-Rear shock (I was told it came off a gsxr but I'm not sure)
-Handlebars replaced with clip ons
-Engine case guards
-Chopped rear fender
-Heated Grips
-White reflective wheel stripes

Maintenance (All done myself):
-Spark Plugs (May 07)
-Oil Changed (May 07, November 07, January 08)
-Replaced both Case Gaskets (November 07)
-Valve adjustment (January 08)
-New Battery (January 08)
-Gas tank replaced (April 08)

Issues:
-Paint doesn't match. Will include matching purple tank if you want to try and repair
-Bent gauge cluster frame
-Rear turn signals don't match. Both work but the left blinks fast.
-tach light is out
-trip meter doesn't work (odometer does)

I just have one question, but it's not for the seller.

This fellow is trying to sell his motorcycle and you're asking him to instead just sell you his engine?
I bet he will.
Just buy the whole bike for $1400 and he'll throw in the engine for free!
