I usually don't get too excited about other bikes, but this one was sooooo badass !

It's the first I've seen in person, iirc he said it was a 1991, and it was in great shape. He screamed by on it was time, AWESOME !

I don't know if that 'redline' on the tach is needed really. More than likely it's a 'you dont make any more power after this fast, so SHIFT DUMMY!' or something.

I didn't get a video of it running, but I can get in touch with the owner. He called last night, and asked if I would mind removing the pictures that somewhat showed a location of the bike, tax plate, other tax plates, etc. He's just a little paranoid since it's one of about 6 (SIX!) street legal RGV's in the US.

Trust me, when it screams by, it is a beautiful thing, and it keeps the LoveBugs at bay too

just looking at the two next to each other (I didn't want to risk dropping it, or scratching anything, but he said he didn't care) it's very similar. the bars seemed a little closer to the seat area, but not much. i parked next to it at one point, and they looked like brothers.

the fairing might well fit. the rgv was as narrow as the gs, but didn't seem more narrow. it took some looking to make sure the frames were different, and of course it's swing arm is mucho sexier. USD forks, beautiful sound, and once boiling it will really really GO !

Two strokes are ok , they dont last as long , and all the power is in the revs , thye make alot more power ,

   The 675 is nice, I guess I didn't pay much attention to it because of the gorgeous 848 sitting next to it.

To me the attraction is how rare it is over here. Two smokes just aren't found, anywhere in the US. They need constant supervision, or they'll rape your horses and ride off with your women

It's like owning a novelty that everyone can agree is cool, but you get to trash it on the way home after a meet

THe Daytona is the Sexyest Bike made, The fact Its  British Brand, really shows that us brits no what sex on wheels are , You can keep ur Ducati , coz Old Makenzie *Is My Daytonas Name* **And Danielles Middle Name*  Would SMOKE Your Duc


Also , i have a little DNA 70cc 2 smoke , and it does 63 mph .. which is impressive from such a small engine , i have spent a wee bit on it tho

Ummmm,  675 smoke an 848???  I don't see it.  The 848 produces more HP and torque and weighs less.  A 675 will accelerate faster than MY Duc, but MY Duc is a supersport not a superbike like the 675 claims.  If you really want to get into the nitty gritty, MY Ducati produces more rear wheel torque than a stock 675.
