Brakes

 Hi there fellow GS'ers. I brought a GS500 9 days ago and have already clocked up 1500 miles. Its a nice bike but the brakes are naff, very spongy even after bleeding - so bad in fact that i'm also having to use the rear brake. Anybody have any tips on what to do or a decent pad & disc combination. Already have a braided house.

Do a search on here for "brake pads".  You should find a fair amount of info.  

With the braided line, you should be lifting the rear tire off the ground.
