Whats goin on everyone.  Kinda new to posting but have been reading your forum for about the last week or so.  Just bought an 08 GS last week and am loving it.  I have noticed that there aren't a whole lot of parts out there for it, but I really wouldn't know what to do with them if I got them.  I am willing to admit that I am a novice in the sport, but am always lookin for a way to make a good thing great.  I see a lot of talk about rejetting and timing/ignition advances, and honestly don't know what most of this means.  Im sure its been discussed previously, but am still making my way through all the postings.  Just wanted to drop a line and say hi...

so far I see no stickers on the side fairings either you took em off or its ben wrecked. as far as mods go dont even worry about timming advadvances no one has figured out how tro advance the rnewer bikes yet. BUT you can cahnge the exhaust with a better sounding one change the intake with K&N pods or l;uch box or do what I got and use the uni floter pods(cheaper but sound great) and do a rejet that will make the bike perform a little better than stock. other than thats a fenderecomy suspentin upgrade and stuff like that is mopre for personal prefrence.  holy shaZam! look a all my typos I mius be drunbk ohh tyime for a smoke

whoa, slow down.  My bike has not been wrecked, I bought it brand new and took the fairings stickers off because I didn't much care for them, and am currently working on a paint scheme.  Given, I may have gotten a little ahead of myself in removing them before I am actually ready to paint.  But you know how the desire to make the bike yours is.  Any who: I have no idea what you mean when you say "rejetting" but yet again, am workin to advance my knowledge; and definately a fenderectomy, but alas, the army keeps me so busy, I have little time to do more than ride an hour so (when not commuting), spend time with the kids, and sleep.

Sorry.I know a guy on here with a bike kinda like yours couldn't get a title for his and is selling it as parts.
