this thread shows a hugger made for the GS hope this helps I would get a hugger if its an easy install :thumb:. dont really need a cowl since I have an r6 tail and cowl.

A hugger would be cool, but wouldn't work for those of us with a kat rear wheel.  :cry:

hmmmmmmmm maybe make it fit a 160 tire off the back

That would be nice, I'm not going to request any parts be made though. I can't afford to put that kind of money in to my bike right now. I would like to get some rearsets though.

I have a Bandit 400 hugger , and it takes a 150 tire fine , would take a 160 maybe
2001 Gs500 , Katana Gsx Front End, K3 Tank,, Full S S Predetor System ,Bandit Rear Hugger,Goodridge S S Break Lines ,  Belly Pan , , K+N LunchBox, Probolt Bolts, FSD Undertray With Built in Lights And Indicators.

It bolts up to the gs swing arm? My 160 is really wide, my next tire will either be a 150 or a different brand 160 that is more narrow than my current one.

It does with slight tweaking , and a cable tie on one side,, which u could JB weld a tab on there, but otherwise looks sharp

Hey everyone sorry about the delay, we have been working on the prototyping of the sleek cowl as we have already started receiving orders  But here is a few designs that shows our concept cowl, what one does everyone like?!  Comments, suggestions.  Yes it's just to give an idea of how it would look, we don't want to create something until there is a consensus.  Let's blow this forum up once again!

We will have an image of the sleek cowl, but as we stated in the beginning page of this post, it is what is on the red bike on the front page.

Yea , it has to be Really slim , because the Tail is small , and as u dont have to worry about the grab rail , if its big , then it will look wrong

2nd is better.
And yes theres no difference from new model E and F rear end, so it will fit the naked ;)

What do you mean by this?  Are you saying that the second pic is what you would want as well, or giving an opinion on it?


So as far as I see it so far we have a consensus so far for the second pic which takes on the whole rear of the seat and extends ALL the way to the rear of the seat.  Who else has their opinions on this?  Any suggestions about how it looks, or what else needs to be done?  Let's get some more feedback!

Should have a pic of the slim style sometime today as well, but as stated, it will be like the red one on the start of this topic.

The first one is way to big, much like a Hump , the second one is sweet ,  if it stays like that ill defo have one ,

remember ur going to have to cover the gap that the Grab rail Leaves When u take it off , otherwise i think these are going to be a massive hit !!

WRONG.

The E and F are NOT the same.

E: 89-00 are the same.

F: 01+ are the same. F is actually 04+ but only with the addition of front fairings.
Common sense in not very common.
