This is what they wanted, let's not bash the design, but more look at the quality of the paint and the product.  We have come to a design with what you all said you wanted, which was to remove the grab rail and to have it go to the full back of the tail just like our photoshop images showed.  That is what we are basing our design off of, with obviously a smoother flow and following the bikes lines.

But that is a cowl we painted, to show the quality of our paint, and our workmanship.  Thanks!

The paint looks fine for now. The curves that fight the right angles of the grab handle are just awesome design cues? And the way the hump fattens as it goes toward the rear of the tapering tail is eye catching to say the least.
Please dont tell me not to bash it when you throw it out there for a open opinion, we are not looking for something from JC Whitney ok, all of us here have a keen eye for detail concerning our bikes. If you want us to throw down our hard earned cash during the impending if not already arrived recession you better come up with a way better design. You want to see clean design work and quality craftsmanship, check out Mark Knopf's bike on this website. Now with that said, good luck and we hope to see a pre production sample/photo soon.

Opinions are appreciated, sorry for the misunderstanding, just wanted to state that's what they were looking for.  We did draw ups for them as well, and now we have some that want a sleek style as well as you suggest which is why this came out.  Let me know what you think about this one on it.

And we are getting your cowl out ASAP!  And will post pics as soon as I get pics.  Thanks

i looks efing ugly the slope in the rear is too steep and should be less harsh to follow the rear end better. the gap between the plastics and the cowl looks ugly make less of a gap amd fix the rear slope and your good.. I know I cant do platsic, fiberglass or anything like that but I can design but hey its your product not mine

Customers...

They're never satisfied and the price is always too expensive.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Don't worry I take no offense what so ever, that is their doing.  You guys made your design on your cowl and so that's what gets done.  That's why I gave it into your hands before production, but what you asked for is what were working on, and we can't wait to get that setup for everyone to view as well.  Thanks for the input.

Should have some pictures up in the next week or two at the latest, we are doing the final adjustments working on making it eye pleasing as well as making it attach properly without the tabs.  Working on keeping you up to date as quickly as we can, will get pics posted soon enough.  And who is interested in a hugger made as a direct bolt on for these rather then having to modify a bandit hugger?  Thanks

Wanted to show everyone our paint process, we just got the videos up and running and working on more!

http://cowltech.com/instruction_videos.php?makeid=3&modelid=4&productid=2

If that doesn't work go to www.cowltech.com and click on Instructional Videos down at the bottom.

Let me know what you guys think, figured I'd show off the professional paint process we have going on for your cowls as well.
