Maybe some form of indication of when the cowls would be produced and ready to be shipped would get you more names??

It would certainly influence most folk i.e. this is ready now for x bucks....folk will either say "yay" or "nae" and you will know how many of these things you can sell....

for f%$ks sake we were on this guys case for over a month about it, telling him exactly how we wanted it asking for updates and begging for pics and then when he makes EXACTLY what we describe you say you think it looks weird?

even if i am the only one, Cowltech, i think it looks great and im not really sure why the other guys arent jumping on this. maybe they just havent seen the list thing yet?

Hey, to each their own. In my eyes it looks WEIRD, possibly in person it may not look as out of place.

I would be more into a Gixer sytle seat. Now that would look SHARP !!

There is NO reason why a complete seat can not be molded to size, add some foam, and wrap it. It would look better and possibly only cost a few hundred buck more.

VIDEOSILVA-if you read the front pages of the forum, the question of having a GSXR cowl with a hump was given as a suggestion, this cowl was what was created as a photoshop image as what everyone stated they would want to purchase, if everyone would want it raised higher in the front, but keep it the size it needs to be (i.e. going to the tail), then let us know.

NEWGS500F-We stated the pricing just a few posts up, and these would be ready to ship (not painted) in 3-5 business days if we had our 15.  And the pricing is set under the consideration of the group buy.

Please also imagine it with color, there was a nice photshop done up a few posts back.  Thanks and let's see where we stand to make this happen.

I understand the pricing clearly - $160 shipped to the UK for the plain white cowl, as shown in your photo.

My point was around the when i.e. if I pay the $160 bucks now, when do I get the cowl . It seems no cowls are gonna be made until 15 names...therefore, I'd rather hold off paying the bucks til the names are on the list

Cowl tech,  nice job!. I didn't have high expectations when the first pictures were put up but it certainly developed nicely. Just wondering whether you send to Australia and how much postage id be looking at.

p.s. i think if u do manage to find a faired model, and perhaps with a pearl white coat to show the undecided/cautious forumites exactly how it would look on their bikes it would help you get some more committed customers. don't give up

I wanna thank cowl tech for the effort involved in making this , its not a piece of plastic on a bike , its something that has been made with the imput of what we want ,

The SRad look would make the bike look terrable , even the Stock tail looks huge with a standerd rim on it , so why try and make it look bigger ,

this is the perfect solo seat cover and i am looking forward to it alot , its gonna make my bike look that little bit different

Roshan-Shipping to Australia for you we will do for $160 shipped w/out paint, if you want to be one of the 15.  Please look at the pictures below to see the cowl on the bike without paint, then once it is painted (for the Katana)  Paint does make a difference.  I will say that if there is someone in the Orange County area with a F bike that would allow us to pop it on there for a picture. Then let me know and I'll try to work that out, but honestly it's the same bike, it's really just imagine it painted.


NEWGS500F-These cowls are ready to roll, we are going to make our final adjustments to the mold this week, and we can have them (without paint) ready to ship by the middle to end of next week(so end of the month).  What we can do is start accepting orders, starting today, for those who want to purchase and lock in on this pricing.  If we do not get the buy in, I can't guarantee where the pricing will be set at, but those who want it at this cost we will allow to take advantage of it.

*Please don't allow for the lack of color on the cowl, or the bike it's on sway your decision.  Once you start seeing those with this cowl on their gs's, painted and looking crisp, we guarantee that they will sell, just like the Katana cowls.  I personally can't guarantee that the pricing will stay like this, especially if we don't get the 15, so take advantage!

I honestly think this solo seat look on the GS buy Cowltech looks like ass and wouldnt put it in the same picture as my bike let alone on the bike.  I think you guys just through something togeather in the garage in about 5 mins and said well no one else makes one so they will have to buy this one even tho its ugly as shaZam!.  I truely hope your just a backyard garage company. I would be ashamed to even sell that duck bill looking "solo seat" to anyone for $160.

You would be well advised to understand there are others in the world with opinions and tastes that differ from yours and it doesn't make it wrong just different. I must have missed that you were the official arbiter of what does or doesn't look good on a GS.
