yet another question from a newb

hey all,
  this probably is a stupid question(asked numerous times) but I could not find a clear answer with the search button. I ask because I have found a few full systems and/or slip-ons that say they will work for the GS500E but nothing about the GS500F and I am not sure if they are THAT much different.

Will 2002ish GS500E exhaust systems fit a 2006 GS500F?

They should all work for both e and f models.   The f model only has a few different modifications to it.  Such as plastics, oil cooler, middle jet in the carbs,, and the timing ignitor.  the only thing that i can think of that would effect you would the the oil cooler possibly gettting in the way..  But with your experience building vehicles (or at least from what your profile hints at)  you might just want to buy a slip on and modify the exhaust yourself.

thanks, i've been kicking around a few different ideas for an exhaust but i just wanted to make sure that an E exhaust system would work(even with minor modifications)
