I'm Jarod, 22 y/o formerly from the awesome state of florida (now from the decidedly less awesome state of nebraska). Don't have a bike yet, saw an excellent gs in fl before i moved but i didn't have the money to get it AND move. And now i'm in a place where in snows until APRIL. gah!

54yo old fart live on Olympic Peninsula Here in Wa. Bought a 93 basket case that I have resurrected and discovered this community while looking for wiring diagrams. I've learned much from others posts. Not my first bike not my last but a nice scoot. I like to build so the gs is a nice platform to play with. I enjoy this site and am glad to meet all you charactors.

Hi all my name is Krissi, just joined after lurking and reading the boards since last year.  I am a total novice, going for my pre-L's course next week as that was the earliest I could book into it. I am very lucky that after then, if I pass my L's, I will have a mentor/instructor whom has around 30 years riding experience, his baby is a Thruxton 900 in red, to assist me in developing safer riding skills. He even helped with advising and checking out the 2007 GS500F that is currently undercover in the front yard and steering me in the right direction with buying my protective gear. Cheers Dad!

Hey everyone,

Im Blake and I bought my 07 GS500F new, Ive had it about 5 months and done just over 16,000kms  .
Done a few mods to it, got caught speeding and got a massive fine so have to pay that off and try not to loose my licence. I've got a sick VW Beetle with massive bodykit & spoiler, 12" WIDE (Not in diameter) tyres and heaps more. Was looking to sell the GS but i think ill keep it for a while and see what i can squeeze out of her.

Hi. I'm a 21yo female from the UK. I'm going to be starting basic training with the Royal Air Force soon so I'll be earning money and will be able to do more things to my lovely bike (plus they're gonna teach me to fix aircraft engines... some of that info has to be transferable to my bike, surely! It does try to take off if the throttle is opened fast enough). I have a 1994 GS500 E. It has 650 carbs and a homemade exhaust (done before I got it) and I'm currently stripping the paint off the tank so that I can repaint it with a tribute to my friend who owned the bike before he died of cancer. My bike is my baby and my haynes manual my parenting guide!
