Hey guys, my name's Landon and am from eastern Iowa. Just traded for a 2006 suzuki gs500f. Pretty impressed with the bike as it sits in the stock formation. Already did the fender mod and moved the reflectors up into the fender more. Looking forward to keeping involved in the forum and waiting out for warmer weather! My other bike is a 87 suzuki sp200 enduro which is a blast to ride around. Ill have to post some pictures up once I get the bike back out of the garage.

22 year old college military student. South Georgia (Not born and raised). I love my GS, great project bike that runs. Super tough! Got it with 10k miles on it, did not run... Guy said stator was bad.... I changed plugs and put synthetic oil in (old stuff was nasty old... almost green) fired right up! Just needed to sync the carbs and clean em. Sad, previous owner dropped and scratched up the plastic and aluminum emblems... hope I can fix that sometime without breaking bank! Put 2k miles on it over 2 months easy!

I posted in this thread a long time ago, but feel like doing it again...so...

My name is Dan and I live in Southern Indiana.  I'm an engineer at Cummins.  I used to contribute quite a bit around here up until '07.

I purchased my '05 GS when it was new and have obsessively cared for it ever since.  However, it has been sitting and hasn't ran since 2008.  I regularly changed out the fuel in the tank and kept things lubed, bike covered and garaged.  I'm bringing the bike back to life and thanking myself for keeping up with things.  Have done new fuel lines, rejetted carbs, changed oil, lubed cables, new battery, etc.

After a wash.  It hasn't seen sunlight in a long time!

33 yr. old chef with a baby girl on Maui.  I left the northeast 5 years ago for Hawaii and just got my '92 GS here last year.   I need to get it in shape for daily riding and life in the jungle.   The GS has been passed around my family since 1995.

I am so grateful to find this group online.  I hope I can give back cause I've already gotten so much from the site.

I'm Mike from Central Florida and I've just bought my 4th GS500!  I bought a Teal '95 with white wheels in '98, rode it until '02. I bought a new blue/white '04 in '04, rode it for a year. I bought a '96 black "basket case" in '07 and restored it, rode it until '09.

I just bought this '07 "storage victim" in mid-October and been working on it with LOTS of help from reading the forums here.
