Hey yall, Its spring.  Time for a dust off tour!  Set some dates, We did the manistee TC run last time, so its my turn to travel a ways like the GR boys did for me last time!  So post up some routes and dates.  Look forward to riding with yalls again!

I havent seen the other michigan people around.  kinda disapointed.  went to the holland Blessing of the bikes today.  Freaking sweet!  rode in with 125 sport bikes all at the same time.  it was amazing....

Where you at in MIchigan darb... planning on a trip up there sometime this summer to the howell area.  Parents still live up there and I have a few friends with bikes in the area aswell.

Looks like you've been busy building up your bike, how's that been going?

The only riding I have planned for the summer so far are commuting to work and possibly a trip to Vintage Motorcycle Days in Ohio.

its going well.  its pretty much done, just little stuff.  well have to plan a trip.  are you going to baldwin?

No Baldwin for me.  I'm up for some riding this summer though. 

I'm sure some of the other michiganders will show up here eventually... Its's still early in the season

I understand.  Glad to hear you seem to be ok, good luck with getting things the way they should be on the bike.

I had someone side swipe me a few years ago.  I got a police report, but ended up just trying to fix everything myself.  It turned out mostly good, but there were a few things wrong I didn't find until a while later (slightly bent forks and axle).  I don't know how I didn't catch that stuff, but at least it's all good now.  Sometimes I wish I had gone through insurance or at least gotten some estimates though.

Ah, I was wondering when this thread would pop up.

Sorry to hear about you accident darb, hopefully it'll be resolved in a timely manner so as to not interfere with your riding season. But the best thing is to probably take your time and do things right.

As for us riding; I'm up for any location that is suggested. I've got some parts to order on the current bike, but that could be taken care of within a weeks time. So anything after the 26th is a go. Even before that is fine too, just the bike just won't look as cool. lol

Hey guys, new Rider here, actually going to pick up my GS tomorrow. I just graduated from U of M, so I'll be living in Ann Arbor for the next month, then moving to my new place in the Walled lake - Commerce area. I'll be down to ride most evenings and weekends!

Greetings! I got a 95' GS500 recently, just a bit over 7000 on it when I picked it up in April, up to 8100 so far. I live in Nashville, (yes, there's one in Michigan) which is between Ionia and Battle Creek, and I'm looking for a few rides to get out of the house. I work nights during the week, but other than that I'm usually free.
