Allstate was great until I was in that wreck,it was pretty much declared an act of god.It was due to mechanical malfunction.I had just done my brakes and had no signs of an axle oil seal leak.I think it had more to do with what I hit.I hit an all original 57 Corvette. The declared value of the car in 98 was $350,000 because it was a museum car from Chevrolet.I almost cried when I hit the car.It was totaled.Everything from the rear bumper up to the doors was completely gone. The fiberglass body exploded like plate glass being hit with a sledge hammer.I rarely tell this part of the story, but I feel maybe I should to back up why Allstate dropped me.It's the only wreck I've been in that was caused by my vehicle.I promptly sold the car and never bought another.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

you're a lucky guy. you found a gs with very few miles, and a good year. then you go and let us determine that dgyver isn't far from you. just like his sig says, he's one of the resident motorsicle gods. and he offered to help ! cool ! if i had a dgyver next door, he'd be set for beer and smokes for a month or so ;)

welcome again, enjoy the ride.

don't beat on her, and don't wreck her and she'll serve ya well ! :D

Welcome!

Make sure you turn the choke off before riding away.
Don't put your foot down in turns, that's a good way to break a leg.
Before you make a turn, make sure you can commit to completing that turn.

You are invisible to everybody.  And, if they do see you they're trying to kill ya.  Cheerio, have a good day!  ;)
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Those who think they know it all are very annoying to those of us who do.
