i had bought my gs abpout 2 weeks ago and i bought it with a crease in the tank to the left of the gas cap its about 5 inches long and it really doesnt look bad but it is starting to rust.  my question is should i have it fixed or should i just replace the tank altogether.  whitch would be cheaper

I can fix it for under 40-50 - as in fix it, not just smear bondo on it. If you want a simple color, I can powdercoat it 50 or so, I can also coat it inside for rust for $60.
Cool.

oh than buying a new one is the best way for you. You can keep riding your GS and once the new tank arrives just pop it one and your good to go in about an hour or less

wait till it starts snowing then send it to Buddha.

Chances are it wont rust completely through by then.

I may be able to do a swapper. I'll post in this thread.
