Quick question battery tender?

I have'nt been around for awhile, between school and work just not enough time. Anyway here is my question, I have my bike on the Battery Tender Jr. if it sits for more the a couple days. I need to run an extention cord about 15 ft across a the garage does anyone have any idea what size cord I should use or any recommendations on extention cords for this application. With the price of gas these days I really appreciate my GS.

I'm not sure I understand the question; are you asking what gauge of extension cord to use?

"Choose between 12 volt and 6 volt models, both with 750 mA output"

The power output = 12 V * 0.75 A = 9 W. I would assume the power input is not much higher than this. Even if it is twice that amount (say 20 W), it is still a very small load. Any good quality extension cord should do.

For reference, UL (http://www.ul.com/consumers/cords.html) says:
"a 16 gauge extension cord less than 50 feet in length can power a 1625 watt (W) appliance"

Any quality extension cord should be fine.I wouldn't use those thin cheap ones like walmart has.

yep that is what I need the gauge size to run it about 15 feet. Thanks for the info.
