2002 GS500e, here's a pic. I grew up on dirt bikes and this thing is a great bike to make the conversion on. I love it!

I seem to be leaking oil from the sprocket cover area so i used search and found people saying it could be the chain oil, so i cleaned it out and i still have a leak. Also, the guy i bought it from used chain wax. Any ideas? Love the bike so far and love the site!

Three possibilites come to mind:

The shifter seal or the clutch pushrod seal, or the output shaft seal.  Open it up, clean it out, and see where the drip comes from.
1990 GS500EL - with moderately-ugly paintjob.
1982 XJ650LJ -  off the road for slow repairs

Let it set over night with the sprocket cover off.You see fresh wet oil seepage. It may also help to pull the sprocket. You could also be leaking around the neutral switch.
PICS are GONE never TO return.
