Hey everyone.  I'm looking to upgrade my 1990GS's suspension.  I just did the front with progressive springs and 15w oil.  I'm looking for an adjustable rear shock.  I've seen some people using shocks from other bikes.  I've already looked at racetech.  If anyone could tell me some ideas of what compatible I'd appreciate it.

Pre-'96 Katana 600 works fine for street use.  They can be had on Ebay fairly cheaply.  I got mine for $27.51 including shipping. :thumb:

Hey ziggo,
I've got lots of info on shocks in my site...almost all from Srinath. Katana shock is best IMO for general street use. Also a direct bolt in. There may be other models but this is the most common upgrade. you can also upgrade to 92-95 gsxr 750 shock but that is really more than necessary for street; I have one though and its turned out to be useful in the aggressive canyon riding I do.

a search of this forum will also net you lots of info.
