Complete 2005 head, from gasket up

I have a 2005 GS500 cylinder head for sale, complete with everything from the head gasket up to and including the valve cover. Motor had @ 5000 miles. $125 shipped anywhere in the U.S.
Also available: cases, clutch assembly, tranny, starter gears, clutch cover, ignition, stator, cylinder block, cam chain tensioner, cam chain guides, more.

What happened to the engine to where it's no longer in one piece?

PO ran it low on oil, one of the rods' bearings seized. I've been parting the motor. Crank is the only thing affected.

Cam journals can be bad ... scoured or galled. I have one that is borderline, I am thinking of calling it a total loss, and punching it to a larger size, then turning the cam end smaller and pressing on a ball bearing on it ....  ... but ... I am famous for dumb ideas.

I mean between aluminum and steel, almost all the wear is in the aluminum right ... the cam shafts can be lightly polished with a crankshaft belt and put in any hting, they are almost in good shape. The aluminum is scoured bad. I am ruining a perfectly good camshaft to go this ... Stupid huh. I have to get oil passages to the cams cos now they get spillover from the journal and it puddles there, I put tight bearings in there, it wont spill and there is no puddle cos the cam hournal will be lower than cam bucket ... sheesh ... sometime I dont think of the whole thing ... anyway lets see, I aint cut it yet. So maybe I wont.

mmm, if someone wants to 'spearament on a head/block/whatever i am actually working again (machinists make shaZam! happen)

i could shrink in a plug, bore it back to the right size or whatever, provided there is enough meat to do it.
