Loosing oil

Hi all, I appear to be loosing oil in the engine. I seem to have an oil leak on the right side of the valve gasket. I assume that that is where it is going, then burning off as I travel, is that a safe assumption? Also she doesn't seem to idle that well when cold and sounds like she is having problems keeping running. Once at running temperature no problem, but seems to be ages until I can take off the choke. Any chance that is to do with the same gasket? I doubt it, but changing that gasget means I don't have to remove the engine!!

Cheers for any help!

Can't help much on the loosing oil but you seem to be on the right track.  Mine has always been slow to start on cold mornings.  I think that is just the nature of the bike.

Valve cover gaskets will leak now and again.  You might check the torque on the valve cover bolts.  They should be not much over finger tight.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?
