Finally got the bike back together

Well after a month or so of messing around i finally got her back together

THEN

NOW



Painted her up , changed the rear tire , rebuilt the carbs , changed the oil and spark plugs .

now she need new bars and i think its good to go

Thanks to everyone for all the help . without this forum the bike would still be in pieces in my driveway

nj although the original red paint job looked great. why change it? my bike was originally purple, looks like one of the 2 previous owners didnt like it either so they got black pearl paint and used a spray gun b/c it came out pretty damn good. im thinking of going with red myself.

i ended up painting it because of the pink splash and it was kinda beat up on the other side . I know alot of people arnt up for painting factory paint . But i just like to make things the way i want them .

When i get more time im gona do the frame too but it prolly wont be for a while

it looks nice.  I hope mine turns out as nice.  I'm going to rattle can mine black shortly.  I see you did the rims too and they turned out pretty well too.  Get some new bars and bar end mirrors and that'll look real nice...
