So what is the verdict on making this exhaust fit our GS? I really want a carbon exhaust, but $500 for a Yosh slipon is a little out of control.

You can make it fit, but you'd need a GSXR midpipe to do so.   I"ve got a highmount with adapters from an older R1 that I'd sell ya for about what that pipe costs shipped to ya.

You talking about a exhaust muff that will fit right onto my GS?

I am not doing carbon fiber.
I mean, there is already 2 different types I have to make, one for the 89-00 and the larger size pipe for the 01+.
The key to getting it under our cost is to have several repeats ... 1000 of the same will be cheaper than 500 of 1 and 500 of the other.
Carbon is not a variation I will toss in. I am yet to hear from them ... I will follow up soon though.
