removing the gas tank

Anybody have any tips on disconnecting the fuel lines from the tank. Mine seems to be stuck.

pull gently on the lines while prying the end of the lines with a larger screwdriver. twist a little too.

the bulge near the end of the line makes it tighter if you only pull on the line without pushing the end of it.

X-ray

I get a pair of needle nose pliers and push the hoses off.  I don't grab the hose but close the pliers smaller then the hose diameter but larger than the metal tube diameter.  Also a shot of wd-40 can loosen the hoses from varnished gas.
'93 gs500 w/ Red Oxide primer paint job. Hasn't been on the road in years but wrenching on it is my escape.

Thanks for the tips.  I got them off with pliers. I guess I was a little afraid on how aggresive to be. Hanks for the tips.
