Im trying to decide on a set.  I really wish they made some round ones in chrome but I dont see any at ebay.

What about these?

Theyre $46 dollars, worth it?

I have a 2001 gs , so the handlebars are hollow.

I m thinking the fold in feature will work nice in case you drop the bike, they will fold in rather than break.   :dunno_white:

I could so rock them.  :thumb:

right!!!!  I like.  Its gonna be my bday gift from moms.  And a friend who wrecked my gs and smashed the original mirror, is paying me half of what these are.

This would be my first mod to my gs!

I want to get a bigger bike maybe next spring when I have some money saved up and such.  But man, its running thru my head right now; I wish I could keep the gs!!

My bike isnt all that fast.

But its a great all around bike to ride around the city, gets pretty good gas mileage, looks sporty, I think the 2001s are the nicest.  Ive never had one incident where my bike didnt start.  The ignition switch sometimes doesnt work due to a loose wire or something, but thats it.  It gives me zero problems.  Thats why I like the gs500.

about time, knock-off crg lanesplitters instead of the silly motrax ones that I got for 45 bucks a pair and broke when a lady dropped my bike with her car.

In my opinion yes, you'll get the "if they're not the real thing, they're crap"  argument though.  I like them.

yuk i just don't like bar end mirrors.

My bike is going to change your mind about bar end mirrors, Frankie!  :icon_mrgreen:

I got them in today.  Will put them on tomarrow I think.  AS long as I can figure it out.  Anyone else done this please watch this thread.  I think theres a screw that you tighten and it expands the metal pieces surrounding so that it pushes on the inside of the bars to hold onto the bar ends, Not sure, well see. :icon_lol:

I like them alot!  Major cool factor.  I think seeing the rear will be great with these.  Seeing the next lane over will be a little difficult cause I think they move back when I try to adjust them out.  But I will just check over my shoulder when changing lanes anyways.

They make the bike look much better I think, even better than no mirrors.  Frankie, now dont they just look cool!!?  lol

So what do I do to the bike next?  This is the first mod on the bike now.  Im thinking a rear fender cut-down.  I would go with Pablos bracket type eliminator but I am not ready to change the rear blinker location, or mess with blinkers at all yet.

What color should I paint the gauge cluster?  Theres big scratches on it and Ill sand it down and repaint.  Same color, black, chrome maybe?

I think Ill take the rear side reflectors off...  Gotta tighten the chain a bit.  Get a crankcase "suzuki" sticker/emblem for the right side.  Had a slight crash and it ripped off lol.

Thanks for looking guys!   8)

Nice looking mirrors!  I'm goin to get some for the SV.

Nice bars too, I like the pullback.  Are those the stockers?  I'm hoping the bars I ordered for the SV are similar in size.

But...  Get out of the center of the road!   :o

All that dark oil is slick, especially when wet.  Also, by locating yourself at one edge or another of your lane you can use your mirrors to look around the cars behind you to ensure that traffic is slowing.  If things don't look right, it's time to split the lanes.  Because of your position near the outside of your lane, that's as simple as looking up the row and whacking it wide.   :thumb:

Thanks for the tip.  I will have to try getting over more .  Seems like you would be too close to the other cars, but Ill try that.

The bars are stock.
