hello. thank you for allowing me to join d forum. i own a 04 gs and im looking to swap the rear shock. i would like to make the swap as easy as possible so i thought the katana shock would be the way to go. 2 questions. 1- which year is the best suited for the swap, and does it matter whether its a 6 or 750 shock. 2- does anyone have any for sale. thank you

I've used 92 gsxr 750 shocks on several occasions. They're adjustable and they bolt on and you get a little more ride height.

Mdow

GSXR shocks are stiff i just put mine on you have to grind alittle on the dog bone to get it to fit but it fits.

Is the GSXR and GSX 750 rear shock the same for those years or something?

The Buddha

GSXR shock on any year is different from GSX or katana shock.
Post 96 GSXR entirely different.
600 Katana is useable all the way though 2007 I wanna say.
750 kat definetly 89-98 is the same and nearly same as the 600 and very good for gs.
Buy shocks that have rebound dial and not shocks that have remote reservoir.
Cool.
