Jus curious what you all think so far....

Just curious what you all think so far of my 89 GS. list includes 06 tank, 06 motor, 33mm sudco CR flat slide carbs w/ K&N pods, Vance and hines pipe blacked out,  more sportier rider pegs, kat rear shock. Thats about all i can think of. I like it but always thinking of some way to change it... jus let me know your thoughts good or bad

Impressed, can you/will you tell me more about the carbs? and how they were set up?

My old carbs were crapt... I had the most genius mechanic from our shop do them and he said throw em out and i listen to him. Sudco modifies them for the gs500 and takes them about two weeks to build. it uses a push/pull throttle and im using an r6 handle control because its smaller than the gs one. I'm not sure on the jet sizes i'll ask the mechanic tomorrow if he is in. But they really wake the bike up.

The coolest things to paint black IMHO are the dash top plate and the clip on plate.
In fact I do that and the headlight in black on all my GS'es.
But that black is cool and you are doing good and tasteful ... just dont go and put some pink and magenta on this and we're cool, simple and cool. Decals it or pin stripe it or whatever, just dont make it loud and gaudy.

Yea they seem to give better throttle response... I didn't want to pay for new carbs from suzuki even with my discount and they were cheaper. I don't remember the cost difference but it wasn't close. And i had the master mechanic who can do carbs like no other tune it. It is good at low rpm's and especially when i roll into the throttle

No dumbass ... saying chartreuse when you see the right shade of blue the 97 GS blue makes you ghey ... saying and identifying it without the GS for referral.
Saying it ... not typing it ... thought it does open up the possibility ...
But you see the 97 GS color on some thing else ... like a sign on the road and you say "wowee man look at that chartreuse home foreclosure sign " yea you're ghey ghey ghey ...
