removed airbox--what to do with PAIR hose

I am in the middle of rejetting my carbs right now. I am installing a K&N lunchbox after I am done but what do I do with this hose since the air box will no longer be there?? Please help ASAP! Thanks!

If that's the hose that went to the airbox then def. don't plug it.  I think they make another filter that you can buy like the following from the Wiki.

No, standard US version...2007GSF It;s not the breather hose like in that pic...I know what to do with that hose. That pic is also of 89-00 carbs. I have 04+

Yes, it runs between that small silver box in the left corner and the air box. It looks like a breather tube...but I am not sure what the function of the box is. Does it monitor the air getting pulled into the carbs or does it dump gases back into the air intake like the other breather tube does (one in the second pic w/the small filter)

The hose is just emissions... you can either get rid of it an put that little filter on it, or put a vacuum cap on the nipple and see if it affects riding.

You can plug it if you want, or just let it hang there. You might like the noise it makes if it is unplugged.

The whole system just injects air into the exhaust ports, nothing to do with the combustion, so have no fear! 
It is just an emission part.

I wouldn't plug that nipple.  Either run it with a filter or just take the hose off.

I did some reading on the PAIR system to figure out what it actually does. From there, I knew I needed it to be filtered and not plugged. I was just going to get a cheapo crank case filter but the autoparts stores were already closed. I ended up simply drilling a hole in the lunchbox filter and tapped it with a threaded air valve used for air tools. After I screwed it in, I sealed it with silicone just to be safe. It works and is a cheaper alternative than buying a seperate filter.
