Oh I thought that was individual.. in that case.. That's not too shabby.. If we get 10 people at $500 fedex that only 50 per person.. still a great deal.

i have no idea lol
Yeah, neither do I.
I have never been involved in a group buy and don't know 1) how the money will be gathered and sent to the company and 2) how the items will be shipped to the participants (sent to one central location and then distributed or sent to each individual location)
These are probably good things to find out before we make anything final.

I'm in too if we can keep the shipping cost around $60, but the logistics seem super complicated. Somebody want to step up? :thumb:

hotrodstu77

if some one who has done a group buy before and knows how it goes down please feel free to send me a message and we'll talk.

The $400 EMS shipping quote seems WAY high.  I've had a bunch of heavy/bulky parts shipped from Japan via EMS and never paid anywhere NEAR that much.

Are we talking 400 bucks to ship 12-20 complete kits? Because that's not overly crazy. That's only 20 bucks a pipe.

I was under the impression that it was $400 to ship one pipe over.  Hence my going WTF?!

I'm guessing getting scammed in a foreign language is just as bad as it happening in English. Not saying they are scammers, but seems like there is massive potential for it to end badly for everyone involved.
