If this counts, then for the next challenge, take a picture of your GS with a sign forbidding motorcycles.   :o :icon_eek:
Woot!

For the next challenge: Get a photo of a mid-air jump beside your motorcycle (legs curled back and fist pumping the air preferred)
For example: this

Ry_Guy

haha, I like this challenge. I'll see what I can do...

Didn't wladziu do this already?  I'd check myself but I'm not near a pc this weekend.

I think his jumping was a byproduct of the challenge but was not the actual assignment.

One easy way to get pics from your phone online is to use Twitpic. Twitpic lets you email a photo from your phone to your twitpic account that's how I got this one online

It's loaded URL is here http://twitpic.com/68pet which has the above pic as Clickable so you can see the larger full-size pic.

No need to remove the memory card or mess around with USB cords.

Ah, I see the problem. When I pasted the URL in the image code it came up on my monitor because it was loading out of cache. But it won't let you hotlink an image.

I did not know this. My bad.

So that means Twitpic will only work as a URL directly to the page which holds the image and not the image itself. Grrr.

I wonder if there is a workaround...?

Just checked Photobucket... it allows you to send them images via email. I'll try this now with the same image from my phone...

Sent to the email address my photobucket account gave me. Was not there right away... nor after 5 minutes. Hmmm

Ah ha! Photobucket just sent me an email letting me know the Image has been uploaded successfully...

So there is a way... use photobucket. Email pics from your phone to your photobucket account and then choose "IMG for bulletin boards & forums" option in the Get Code link.

As this seemed to take a while you could take the pic and email it to your account, then by the time you get home it should have been processed and ready for you to put in the thread.

Ok. After 4 attempts with the self timer, this is it. No fist pump, shot too early for the leg curl. But stuffed if I was going to keep jumping up and down next to my bike for all the world to see...

Picture of your bike next to (or in front of) a Veterans / Military Memorial - like a soldier statue, old decommissioned cannon in front of verterans club, gazebo-type building, memorial wall, etc.

Not too shabby...

Here's some shots I took today at my local VFW post:

For the next challenge: Get a photo of your bike in front of a field of wildflowers

Hmmm. A field of wildflowers. I cannot think of any nearby me. I know of plenty of fields of pasture - and some of just weeds and overgrown grass. But none in flower. Not even a field of flowering weeds. I'll need to put my thinking cap on and maybe do some scouting (good excuse for additional riding  :icon_mrgreen:).

That's actually what I was actually thinking of when I proposed the challenge (given that this seems to be happening all over the place: http://www.nj.com/newsflash/index.ssf?/base/national-8/1244197930247750.xml&storylist=national).  I've seen them in the medians of some highways, so as long as the flowers are wild, it doesn't necessarily have to be a "field", just more than 1 or 2 :icon_razz:

i wish i wouldve read this b4 i left for work i pass a shoulder full everyday. By wild do you mean no one takes actual care of them. Like plant and forget?

That's fine too, the criteria are becoming laxer and laxer as the 1 week mark approaches
