>:( Grrr well then we need a updated list of previous challenges... i havent been here long so how bout this i give you 3 options and we pick the first one thats good

Picture of a wheelie (be safe)
on a boat (afghan for optional points...)
upside down...(bad idea but great if you have a no runner)

As Twism said, my sign link (goes to the link I posted) and is a Current Up To Date list. Go check it out to see  :icon_rolleyes:

Wheelie... unlawful in your area (I cannot think of any jurisdiction that allows it) as well as requiring two people to complete the challenge - one on the bike and one to take the photo. *I* don't think asking people to do something unlawful is an appropriate challenge; and experience tells anything that requires two people to complete the challenge is a fail. But hey, that's just my take on it. Your challenge, leave it as a wheelie if you like, just be prepared to offer a new challenge in seven days when noone has gotten it, is all.

Twism, I'll add you as completing the Father challenge so that challenge is no longer a Failed challenge.

I didnt think the GS had enough power to wheelie? :dunno_black:

Apparently it can be done, particularly if you go down a tooth or two on the front sprocket.

you can pull the front tire on a GS pretty easy actually, I did it not even trying once when I was learning... gave it too much gas let the clutch out too fast and the front popped up just a hair and dropped... if i had been leaning back and pulled up on the bars it would of popped up pretty fast... just get a front wheel off the ground for a second while someone rolls video and post a single frame would be the easiest way.

Boat has been done (I won it with Suzi on a ferry boat).

I don't like the idea of a challenge doing something dangerous and unsafe. The idea of the challenge is to see your bike in on near or around something interesting. Requiring you to do squidley things is a bad idea and not the point of the game.

If you really want a wheelie, then allow your bike with the front end hoisted up with just the rear tire on the ground.

PS: Allow running over a speed bump where your front tire goes off the ground for a brief moment. In a way, that is a wheelie. You don't say how long you have to be doing a wheelie.

OR how about your bike wrecked after you attempted your first wheelie? Your broken bones? Your bike on the tow truck? Your ride to the ER?

crzydood17

this isn't a dare, if you don't know how to do a wheelie DONT DO IT! I dont... and yes i said all you have to have is the front wheel off the ground moving... speed bump jump is totally acceptable...

FYI for everyone who can do a wheelie (not me, so I wont try). You dont need two people for this challenge. Just set up your camera in the parking lot or where ever. Set it to make a movie and ride by with your wheelie or just pop the front up real quick. Just take a screen shot and your good to go.

Ill do a wheelie on a dirt bike but not the street.

Whatever. Never mind. Sorry to bother you.
Count me now out of the game.

a drag strip is much different than a roundabout? I know many citys with drag strips that don't have roundabouts... Maybe drag strips are just a southern thing but they are all over down south... theres one less than a hour away from my house... hell the texas mile isn't even THAT far from my house... I cant get a picture of my bike on a boat... you cant get one of your bike at a drag strip... sometimes life just ain't fair... why dont you send me a list of your local landmarks or hell just send me some pictures you already took of your bike next to stuff... I will look at the list and pick out a target that you can win at...

Uhm, the only dragstrips I know of in Florida is where you have to go to a race track and they have them in there. But, wouldn't one have to be registered to get on a racetrack?

I was going to do the round about but my heart flipped out this week and my doctor has said no Flick for a bit

yeh lots of drag strips are on the inside of larger road courses... but Texas at least has many dedicated tracks... no you don't have to be licensed to race on one. Some require full leathers/armor some only require it on 120+mph bikes(in the quarter). To get in to watch the races is like 10-15 bux and racing is generally 25 more. Some tracks depending on where you are you don't even need to be inside to actually snap a picture "at the track" just park on the side of the road and snap a pic. Hope you feel better real soon Mary.

There is a Drag Strip & Raceway maybe 30 minutes from home. I'll get this on the weekend - but it won't be the bike ON a drag strip. It will be at the Complex where the strip is. And that'll have to do, otherwise to get ON the strip would require the place to be open for business - and - for me to register the bike to drag and that requires a whole heap of safety gear etc.

Ole willowbank hey, I'll put my hand up to be cameraman or just watch.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Funny, I'm seeing the same thing. I was about to do the wheelie one if no one else did, but now that's it's a drag strip I'm not about to pay money to get on one to take a picture.

You can just be by the strip or at the place with it in the background. He said you dont need to be on the strip itself.

I could do this today really quick if it wasnt raining all day  :dunno_white: I have a strip 15 mins away. Lebanon Valley.
