Foggy weather and face sheild

Ok, so I was riding yesturday on the freeway in some heavy fog and kept having my face sheild cover with moisture, visibility sucked, so I rode in the slow lane. I had to keep wiping it from time to time with my glove, and had to pull over once to take the shield off and wipe the whole thing with my shirt, but it ending up happening again and just kept wiping the moisture off while I was riding..............I was just wondering if there's anything I can do to prevent something like this from happening again, like what if I wanna ride in the rain somewhere?

Oh yeah at times when my face sheild got really wet, I had to flip up the sheild to see better. My face was freezing, LOL.

There are a whole bunch of anit fog treatments out there. Search around to see what people like best... My face shield came with something on it to prevent fogging up and it seems to be working just fine so far...

I think fred is talking about fog treatments for the inside of your shield.  But you are talking about the outside?  You might consider Raincoat, reviewed here: http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-helmets/visors/raincoat-water-repellent/

I haven't tried it, but will probably do it sometime soon.

Pledge, found in the cleaning isle is supposed to work wonders. 

Cat Crap also works.

Turn your head about 60 degrees. The condensation on the shield will be blown off.

It's not that the lens was fogging up, but I just had condensation hitting me........I have a HJC full face mask with the anti-fog lens, and I never had any problems of fogging up when riding, but only when I was stopped for no wind coming in. The helmet is great, but I wish I had a winsheild wiper on it, LOL.

Look at the recent winter gloves thread, there are gloves that have a squeegee thing on the finger... Probably the closest you'll come to having windshield wipers..

force the cats mouth open, insert pledge nozzle, empty pledge can into stomach.  Then wait a while.  Once cat poops a third time, whipe that third turd all over your face mask...dont forget the inside...  Then let it sit for about 7 days in the sun.  Then brush clean with a dry tooth brush and viola!  instant stinky fuckign face shield and a very very dead cat.  problem solved.  lmao

RainX works pretty good at higher speeds. The head turning thing is still required at lower speeds.

 JC Whitney had the small "windshield" wiper that I think attach to the back of your glove or finger in their last catalog. Might check their website, I asked Santa for one.
