Herpes- noncurable
Syphillis - penicillin, yes ( if not, you'll get holes in your brain in about 20-30 years)
Everything else besides HIV/AIDS, HPV - your body can take care of itself.
Antibiotics are given only to speed things up, leading to resistant strains.  Antibiotics are actually weak poisons.  Like oligomycin:  shuts off the hydrogen ion pathway though ATP synthase channels, which is how your body makes energy (starves things to death).  Too much of it causes buildup of polysaccharides in your cells, and causes your kidneys to fail when you can't process the sugars.

Erythromycin is actually so powerful that it's sometimes given as a preparation for gastroenterendoscopy (makes you puke your guts out, works better than those Hollywood colon cleansers).  
Doxycycline has a problem with photosensitivity.  When you add UV light to certain organic chemicals (guess what!) they undergo restructuring, which tears apart the tissue that got exposed to the light.  You break out in hives, shingles, etc., then you start going into anaphylactic shock, tachycardia, possibly cardiac arrest.

2) i've read a few of the latest virus are getting past AVG, and a host of other AV tools. apprently the writers are getting sneaky, or vista is getting crappier.

i wouldn't bash windows so much if it didn't require 6-7 helper programs to keep it secure. really, i wouldn't !

Windows only needs one helper program...a firewall...and a good one.  It's when you don't have a helper program that the 6~7 other programs have to step in and put oh my goodness back together.

Also, these "helper programs" will do individually in most cases but the teams that developed them specialized in different areas, so some more specialized viruses will only be rooted by just one.  It's a safe precaution to just run them all.  I had to recently remove darksma and "internet speed monitor" from my computer...because I wasn't using a firewall...and it was astounding how much other oh my goodness I cleared out by runnig the full barrage.

+1 to everything Mak said.  It's a shame tho...  I grew up as a tech, and I don't even follow my own advice.  I've got NO Firewall....  NO Virus protection....  I've even got the Windows Firewall turned OFF!!!

vista isnt getting crappier it was crap from the get-go as soon I I got my new computer I purchased xp installed it and never had any issues. Im also running firfox and Im going through a router. from what the tech at my old work told me if your going through a router your cpu is safer from harm cause a virus or hacker will hit the router and not your cpu( I dont know if thats true).

actually apple is suggesting a dl/fix for their systems now. not as virus proof as most think. jsu a LOT harder to hit. easier to hit a pc than a mac. mac IIRC is unix or somehing like that
