How about GS.  Just plain GS, as we refer to it.  "I love my GS!"  Or even GS-R to make it sound more sporty, so noobs look at it instead of jumping on a GSX-R 1000.

I like GS5.  It is enough detail to let consumers & riders know both the body style of the bike and engine size, but is not too much of a mouthful to spit out every time you talk about your bike.
