the lunchbox just gives it a neat intake tone, and is re-usable. you'll want to re-jet with it.
If the lunchbox "just" gave it a neat tone a re-jet wouldn't be required. Most motors don't "breathe" as well as they could due to restrictions in either the intake or the exhaust. As far as exhaust, way I understand it, changing the muffler is a good way to reduce back-pressure which will increase due to the larger volume of fuel/air entering the cylinder. More fuel/air = More gasses out. By reducing the back-pressure I'll lose some bottom bottom-end torque but will gain some power on the top-end with neither the intake nor the exhaust restricting flow. I WILL add a 15t front to compensate. I'm not sure if I'll get a higher or lower speed/RPM ratio when all is done. I'm waiting for bolts and washers. I'll add them ASAP and pop in a #20 pilot in the mean time. As soon as I figure out all this exhaust sh*t, I'll up the mid & main along with the intake/out. Thanks for all the replies, keep em' coming!  :thumb:
